Katie DePaola Silverman, Spokesperson & Executive Coach
Katie says she started working at Long in her teens, answering the phones at the front desk. Today she is our company spokesperson, but along the way she’s done it all at Long including administrative, marketing and client services. Katie says, “my grandfather is Bob Long, so I grew up in this business, which has been a family business since its start in 1945. It means everything to me to represent a brand that has been in my family for nearly a century—and one that I believe in with my whole heart! Everyone at Long is focused on one goal: improving clients’ homes and their lives. It’s easy to work together when everyone has a shared mission.”
Katie graduated from Vanderbilt University. She grew up in Anne Arundel County and now resides in Montgomery County with her husband, Adam. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, writing and working with her family’s foundation, Bo’s Effort.
