Dave Normandin, a Boston native and 40-year veteran of the home improvement industry, has worked with Long Home Products since 2011. He became president of the company in late 2016.

Where does Long Home Products come from?

The LONG name has been recognized as one of the top providers of home improvement services in the Mid-Atlantic region for over 7 decades. The business, launched as a fencing company in the heart of Washington, D.C. by the father-son duo of Henry and Robert Long, respectively, in the 1940s, exploded when Robert took the reins in 1960.

That company — Long Fence® — thrived, becoming the regional leader in residential and commercial fencing. To this day, it is nearly impossible to drive through Washington, D.C., Maryland or Virginia without seeing the ubiquitous Long Fence logo.
